Huraa is the trading name of Hugh Thomas, a UK-based sole trader providing mining technology consultancy services. References to "Huraa", "we", "us", and "our" mean Hugh Thomas trading as Huraa.

2. Services
We provide consultancy, advisory, analysis, project support, and related services for mining technology, data, automation, operational technology, and digital transformation. The exact scope, deliverables, fees, and timetable for any engagement will be agreed in writing before work begins.
3. Proposals and Engagements
A proposal, statement of work, email confirmation, or other written agreement may set out additional terms for a specific engagement. If there is any conflict between these website terms and a signed or otherwise agreed written engagement document, the engagement document will take priority for that work.
4. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, timely access to relevant personnel and systems, and any site-specific safety, security, or compliance requirements needed for the engagement. Clients remain responsible for operational decisions and for verifying that recommendations are suitable for their assets, workforce, regulations, and risk controls.
5. Fees, Invoicing, and Payment
Fees and expenses will be agreed in writing. Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are due for payment within the period stated on the invoice. Late payment may result in paused work, delayed deliverables, or recovery of reasonable costs associated with collection.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
Either party may cancel or reschedule work by giving reasonable written notice. Fees may remain payable for work already performed, committed time, non-refundable third-party costs, travel costs, or other expenses incurred before cancellation. Any refund or credit will be assessed against the agreed scope and the work completed at the cancellation date.
7. Confidentiality
We will treat non-public client information as confidential and use it only to provide the agreed services, unless disclosure is required by law or authorised by the client. Clients should identify any particularly sensitive information before sharing it.
8. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, clients may use final paid deliverables for their internal business purposes. Huraa retains ownership of pre-existing materials, methods, know-how, templates, tools, and general expertise used or developed outside the specific client deliverable.
9. Liability
Consultancy outputs are based on the information available at the time of the work and do not replace site-specific engineering, safety, legal, financial, or regulatory review. To the extent permitted by law, Huraa is not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, loss of production, loss of data, or consequential losses arising from use of the services or website.
10. Website Use
The content on this website is provided for general information only. We may update, suspend, or withdraw website content at any time. You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, or use it in a way that could disrupt its operation.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the courts of England and Wales, unless a written engagement agreement states otherwise.
